This service provides photographs, numeric recordings on cd-rom, digital copies, microfilms and slides of documents preserved at the Royal Library, insofar as this is not contrary to the regulations regarding preservation, protection or copyright.

Each department decides independently on the appropriate reproduction method and puts the request forms at the readers’ disposal. The reproduction regulations can be obtained on demand in each department.

Several reading rooms are equipped with photocopiers for occasional use. However, documents such as newspapers, manuscripts, rare books, etchings and folio volumes cannot be xeroxed.
