DESCRIPTION:Keep your Thursday evenings free\, because the Brussels Museums Nocturnes are back. Discover a selection of unique museums open exceptionally from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Nocturnes start on Thursday 12 March and run for seven weeks until 23 April. \nThe KBR museum is taking part in the first Nocturne of the series and invites you to experience the Middle Ages in an original way. Step into the world of the Burgundian dukes and be surprised by an exclusive dance initiation in the centuries-old Nassau Chapel. \nYou can also visit the KBR museum that evening without taking part in the dance initiation. The dance workshop is optional and accessible by reservation only. During your visit\, you will discover the exceptional manuscripts of the Library of the Dukes of Burgundy and other masterpieces from the Burgundian period. \nIn the Middle Ages\, dance offered a way to forget one’s worries and celebrate together. During this initiation with the dance group Passi\, you will discover how both the nobility and the common people danced to historical music. From majestic estampies to captivating saltarellos: learn the steps that once filled the halls of the court. DESCRIPTION:Museum Night Fever is back for its 18th edition. Yes\, Brussels’ wildest museum night is finally of age – and the KBR museum is joining in!  Enjoy the triple bill featuring the jazzy soul of Mona Mio and the acoustic sets by Cassandre and Mount Rose. Get your favorite miniature inked on your skin in the Nassau Chapel with Dori\, Graouh\, and Harissa. Or discover the museum’s spaces during the performance Laps (satellite) by Constance Diard. \n\n		\n			buy your ticket		\n\n		 \n		\n			Discover the KBR museum		\n\n		 \n  \nProgram at the KBR museum\nLaps (satellite)\nThe solo Laps (satellite) is inspired by reflections on entropy\, a concept in physics that describes the organization of a system. A connection is made between order and disorder\, simplicity and complexity\, as if to explore their endless variations.  \nThrough dance\, a fleeting presence fills the space with clarity\, gradually turning chaotic. This performance\, conceived as a wandering through the spaces of the museum\, invites different eras and aesthetics to meet in a spellbinding and meditative journey.  \n\nConcept and performance: Constance Diard \nSound design: Antoine Degonville \nSchedule:\n\n8:00 – 8:30 PM\n9:30 – 10:00 PM\n11:00 – 11:30 PM\n\n\n\n  \nFlash Tattoo night \nLooking for something special to make the Museum Night Fever even more memorable? Get a flash tattoo at the Nassau Chapel with Dori\, Graouh\, and Harissa from Mue Tattoo for €60 per tattoo. The designs are inspired by imaginative miniatures from medieval manuscripts. Your chance to have your favorite drollery inked on your skin. Do you prefer something a bit less permament ? Stick-on temporary tattoos are also for sale\, €5 for 10 pieces. \n\nSchedule:\n\n7:00 PM – 1:00 PM\n\n\n\nIf you’re tempted by a tattoo\, please remember to bring cash or Payconiq\, as card payments are not possible in the Chapel of Nassau. Candidates can register on site for a time slot as soon as the venue opens. Arriving early is recommended! \nInto the Light \nImmerse yourself in a musical journey in two parts! Mona Mio unveils Into the Light and invites Cassandre and Mount Rose to intertwine their writing on stage. The evening will switch between an electric\, groovy and intense set by Mona Mio live band and the sensitive and refined acoustic performances of Cassandre and Mount Rose.   \nWriting is central to this project\, under the artistic direction of Mona Mio. Each artist defends a personal\, direct and uncompromising message. Through these contrasting formats\, there is stage energy on one side and raw intimacy on the other. Spotlight on Brussels’ emerging independent and committed scene\, driven by FINTA artists.
