Who is Georgia Koumentakou?

Georgia is ten years old and has been playing the violin since the age of three and a half. The half-violin on which she will perform the programme of this concert belonged to the Belgian violinist Irma Sèthe (1876-1958) and is now part of KBR’s collection.

KBR is happy to make its heritage available to the younger generation, and this concert, which brings together a remarkable instrument and the talent of the young Georgia, is a concrete example of this.

After years of silence, this violin with its fascinating history is once again vibrating under the fingers of the young girl.
