Discover the four Belgian candidates for the 15th edition of the Arthur Grumiaux International Violin Competition, which will take place from 11 to 16 April 2023 at the Koninklijk Conservatorium (KCB) in Brussels. The four young violinists are Georgia Koumentakou (age 11, cat. A*), Victorine Meurice (age 13, cat. B*), Edith Cnockaert (age 20, cat. D*) and Theodore Kim (age 19*, cat. D).

KBR is a logical partner of the violin competition. In December 2021, the King Baudouin Foundation deposited the Arthur Grumiaux collection at KBR, a donation from the Baron Arthur Grumiaux Foundation, organisers of this competition. This partnership is an extension of this collaboration, but also ties in with the lunchtime concerts organized by KBR, where it puts Belgian artists in the spotlight.
