Get ready for an artistic mix of wordplay, visual inspiration and poetic encounters at SpeakEasy speaks Royal Library!
Manuscripts that speak? Texts that come alive? It’s possible at KBR! The poetry collective SpeakEasy Spoken Word BXL takes inspiration from the “Rijmbijbel” and takes you on a multilingual “Promenade Poetik” at the KBR museum. Come see the oldest illustrated manuscript in Dutch and set off on a discovery. Between manuscript, book and print, you will find poetic performances that will make you travel through centuries of history. Do you dare to let yourself get carried away by the poets? Your journey ends with a special open mic overlooking the Mont des Arts. Enjoy spoken word poetry and a drink from albert Brussels‘ open bar.
