Our colleague Leen Van Hulst passed away on 23 January 2025, at the age of 42, after a courageous battle against an illness. This exhibition is a tribute to her and is based on works by Leen from the KBR collection.

Leen Van Hulst was an illustrator and printmaker. She was born in Jette and studied painting and illustrative design in Antwerp. Based in Borgerhout, she worked for many years as a freelance illustrator for a wide range of clients in Belgium and abroad. At KBR, she was responsible for the Chalcography department, where she focused on printing and making prints.

This exhibition shows her diverse oeuvre and the lasting mark she has left as an artist and colleague.
