Bram Nolf (oboe), Luc Loubry (bassoon) and Hans Ryckelynck (piano) will let their instruments resonate in duo or trio formations, in a programme with Belgian music at its heart, featuring works by Absil, Craens and Poot. These pieces will also enter into dialogue with the Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano composed by Francis Poulenc in 1926. A unique feature: not only will we hear this three-movement work performed by the musicians, but we will also listen to excerpts from a recording in which the composer himself plays the piano—an audio archive preserved in KBR’s Yves Becko collection.
