Intra-Belgische literaire vertalingen sinds 1970

Doel van het project

Het project Intra-Belgische literaire vertalingen sinds 1970 (BELTRANS) bestudeert het ongekende verhaal van literaire vertaalbewegingen in België tussen het Frans en het Nederlands in de periode 1970-2020.

BELTRANS onderzoekt het verband tussen intra-Belgische culturele transfers en de wederzijdse kennis en perceptie van elkaars cultuur in een periode van toenemende regionalisering van de staat, die de afstand tussen de Belgische taalkundige en culturele gemeenschappen deed groeien.

Fases van het project

  • FAIR data creëren over hedendaagse Belgische auteurs en hun werken in Franse of Nederlandse vertaling ter voorbereiding en samenstelling van het corpus
  • Intra-Belgische literaire vertaalbewegingen in kaart brengen en kwantitatief analyseren
  • De rol van de betrokken actoren, instellingen en organisaties analyseren
  • De receptie van de vertaalde teksten onderzoeken
  • Literaire transferbewegingen door vertaling kaderen in de context van culturele en maatschappelijke evoluties in België
  • Beleidsadvies opstellen voor het valoriseren van Belgische auteurs en hun werken, zowel in België als in het buitenland
  • De onderzoeksresultaten valoriseren, verspreiden en benutten voor een wetenschappelijk, professioneel en cultureel publiek
